The Last Skill Post.

 We are now in the vacation, so we decided to go to the English camp. And I choose the Ranch West camp instead of camp Big Apple, because there are better things in Ranch West Camp than camp Big Apple.

 The camp Big Apple is and intensive program. They make us study for the hard tests, such as SAT. We will have to memorize the vocabulary, and have many homeworks. And, this can lead to the students' stresses. Because of this, the students' score will decrease oppositely what the camp wants to do. However, the Ranch West camp gives free to children. They give the decision to studying subject to students and children can choose one subject that they want. There is no force. They will be more satisfied with the study. So, although the camp is not intensive program for test, the students will have confidence of subjects they like. Also, there are boring activities such as going to the museum, and touring the city. We love to play in the weekends, not walking aroud the cities. The Ranch West camp think about us more. They give fun activities, we do sports, such as hiking and canoeing. We can experience new things, too. We do horseback riding, and this make us more experienced.

 The teachers are different, too. In Camp Big Apple, the korean professors in Master degree teach children. They are not native speakers. They will speak like korean's accent. Also, sometimes they will use korean in class. This can interupt students. But, Ranch West camp is different. The classes are taught by Canadian that recently graduated the university. So, we can learn more correct English accent and Korean professors.   

 Another difference is that Camp Big Apple makes children live in dormitories with children from all around the world. Because of this thay can have language problem. For example, Japanese and Indian became the roommate. And, Japanese friend speak Japanese and Indian speak other languages. So, they will not be able to communicate each other unless they use English. And, this will be hard. But, the Ranch West Camp use the home-stay, so the children can talk with home owner. Also, they can experience a real life in the other country.

 In conclusion, I think Ranch West Camp is better than Camp Big Apple because of studying, activities, teachers and place where we live.

Skill post 2- Summarizing and paraphrasing

 1. Summary of Shark Attack
 It is very hard to get shark attack. It is more likely to struck by lightning and drown than getting shark attack. If you travel in groups or don't stay if you are cut, you will not get shark attack.

What The USA Eats......

 In the morning, I played with my brother, Jimmy. My name is Sean.. Now it is a winter now, so we went outside and throw snowballs each other. The snow ball fight finished when my brother cried. He cried because my snow ball hit his eye. My mom came and she scolded me. Fortunately, my brother doesn't have any problem in his eye. We ate bread and milk for the breakfast. Usually, we have a simple breakfast.

 I had a lunch time in my school. We went to the cafeteria, and in there, there was hot dogs! I got the 3 hot dogs. I ate them with others, such as sand witches. I thought I could eat them all, but I couldn't finish one hot dog. None of my friend didn't want to eat it. I tried to trash it quietly, but my teacher saw that! She doesn't like students who trash the food. I got a yellow card and ate it. I went to the bathroom because of this.

 I had a horrible snack today. My mom gave me a hot dog for snack! I wanted to refuse it, but my mom was smiling! I couldn't refuse with seeing her face. What the hell! So, I ate only one hot dog. My mom asked me why you are not eat many, and I didn't answered it.

In the dinner, we ate pizza. We bought the biggest size of pizza, because my brother eats a lot. For our expect, my brother ate the half of the pizza. He is great. Because of this, he went to the bathroom 3 time after dinner! I ate 2, and parents ate 1 each. Our family watched TV after the dinner. I did homework for the exam, and I went sleep. Today, it was a fun day.

 Once upon a time, one person died. No one wasn't sure who killed him. So the CSI tried to figure out who killed him. Finally, they figured out who killed him, but couldn't catch him. He was a man named Bob. Bob was a criminal that ran out of a jail, and was never seen for 5 years. He went to the jail for stealing 15 police cars. He also stole buildings because he is very strong. Additionally, he hit the police and ran away. He is really a bad guy. Again, Bob became a big issue for the police, so police ran and ran to find Bob. However, Bob had a gun,so he tried to shoot the police. The police had more guns so the stepped back. The police thought that this is time to arrest him, so they tried to shoot him, but at that time, he flew away! Suddenly, bullets appeared out of nowhere and got enbedded on their heads. All of the police died and became zobies. Bob wanted to be a zombie so he nag to the police. But the police shoot him instead of biting him. Because of this, the guts were coming out. But, he didn't die! He started to walking around with no guts. But he couldn't feel anything. No one could kill him. He didn't die. The legend says that Bob is walking around somewhere in the world now, too. So, if you see Bob walking around, please call the police!

Because of this, the student's score will decrease oppositely what the camp wants to do. However, the Ranch West camp gives a free to children. They give the dicision to studying subject to students. The children can choose one subject that they have interest in, so they will not get sress. They will be more satisfied with the study. So, although the camp is not intensive for test, the students will have confidence of subjects they like.
 Also,there are boring activities such as going to the museum, and touring the city. We love to move and run in the weekends, not walking around the cities. The Ranch West Camp think about us more. The activities are fun. We move and do sports, not walking around the cities. The children do hiking and canoeing. We can experience new things, such as horseback riding. This make us more experienced people. These sports make us smile and get rid of stresses.

So, the teachers are very professional. Their pronouncation and accent are different fro, the Koreans. So, the we can learn more correct English than students who went to Camp Big Apple.

 In conclusion, I think Ranch West Camp is better than Camp Big Apple for these reasons.
